Jenny & Andy’s Wedding

April 26, 2010

How come I can walk up and down Mount Sinai (2300 metres, 3 hours each way) and not feel a single ache, yet I can spend all day Saturday shooting a wedding and end up with every muscle aching through to Monday morning?? I guess my body is trying to remind me that it’s my birthday tomorrow! It has been a very busy weekend; post portrait work, pre-wedding venue visits and fabulous weddings.

Rob, my second photographer, and I photographed Jenny and Andy’s wedding on Saturday and it was a fantastic day. Glorious weather, breathtaking venue (Sundridge Park Manor) and genuinely lovely people. Both bride and groom were calm and relaxed from the outset. It was a day when everyone felt at home; a tea party theme, garden games, hilarious speeches and twirling on the dance floor and lots of fun for all involved.

Thank you to both Jenny and Andy for being perfect subjects and to all their friends and family for being so welcoming and such good sports. Rob and I wish the couple a long and happy life together.

You will be able to see their proofs online in the next 3-4 weeks, so keep an eye out!

Thank you Nikki and Rob for making us all feel so comfortable being photographed. Having you both there felt more like having 2 extra guests than having photographers. Love the shots you have posted here, and cant wait to see the rest. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to any friends and family.
Love Cassy ( mother of the bride) xx

    Hi Nikki,

Thank you and Rob so much for capturing such lovely moments from our day, we are thrilled with these and cannot wait to see the rest when we get back from honeymoon! You were both so great and Nikki you were like an additional bridesmaid at times, helping me to stay calm amidst the pockets of chaos that there must be at any wedding. We all felt so relaxed being photographed by you, and that clearly shows through the pictures above. You both worked so hard all day, we really appreciated your efforts.

    With great thanks

    Mr & Mrs Johnson

    Hi Nikki

Thank you for such lovely photos – you worked really hard all day long. Problem is I just dont know which ones to choose, I want them all! I know that Jenny and Andy are delighted with them and once I have made a decision I shall enjoy looking at the photos for years to come. Thanks again
