Caroline & Stuart’s Family Portrait Shoot

August 31, 2010

I seem to have spent most of the past week travelling up and down the M2, whether it be visiting Maidstone or Gillingham for network meetings, Bride pre-wedding venue visits or, in this instance, an early morning shoot.

Caroline and Stuart received a Gift Voucher at Christmas (from their fab friend Helen) for a family portrait shoot and this took place on Sunny Saturday. An early start at 9am! Caroline had opted to have the portrait shoot at her parents house as it was more convenient.

The shoot was to revolve around their adorable little son who didn’t stand or sit still for a second which kept me on my toes!

We started off in the garden as the weather was glorious but I found that their little boy was always keeping his head down – finding the sun far too bright for his eyes – so we decided to move inside for a while.

Caroline’s parents have a super cool Thomas train track set up in their lounge for their grandson (although I think secretly it’s for Caroline’s dad! :-))

I love the shot below. I don’t know what he’s saying to his Dad but it looks like it’s quite important!

Caroline and Stuart’s son is such an adorable and happy soul – always smiling and giggling and quite obsessed with splashing water 🙂 He looked very smart in his checked shirt (he had a birthday party date with some girls after the shoot!).

The rest of the photographs should be online in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out on the website.

Gift Vouchers make great presents (Christmas isn’t as far away as you may wish to believe!) We can put custom vouchers together if you have a budget in mind, for services and/or products. If you have had a portrait shoot with us and wish to give photographs as presents, why not give a gift voucher pack instead; a thumbnail booklet of all your photographs accompanied by a gift voucher for a print. That way recipients can choose their own photograph from your shoot. Contact us for more information: nikki@nikkiwaterlow.co.uk
