Friends of St Peters School: Spring Ball 2012

March 28, 2012

It seems like only a few months ago that I was in Essex shooting a black tie ball with my friend & fellow photographer, Russ Harper. Yet I can look back and see it was in fact 12 months ago; ‘Spring Ball’ in the title clearly proves that!

Russ and I make a great team; he took charge of the photography (wide, mid and close up shots as well as some groups) and I took charge of selling; rustling up business, showing guests their photos and taking their money while speedily delivering their prints.

Just like last year, Amanda had organised a great event for the guests and supporters of the ‘Friends of St Peters’ charity. There was an auction, a raffle, great food and finished off with a great party on the dance floor and party bags!

Despite it being an extremely late night (when I had to be up at 5am the following day!) I love posh events like this. For a female, I think it’s a bit like window shopping. I can eye up all the glam dresses, beautifully done hair and immaculate makeup with all the guests being really welcoming, friendly and relaxed for Russ and I.

Look on the main website for the photographs; they’ll online be online for 3 months.
